The short version

Homework Hound drafts training documents for professional dog trainers. Every document is a draft until you, the trainer, review and approve it. That review is a condition of use, not a suggestion.
It is not veterinary or behavioral-medicine advice.
How you apply the content with real dogs and real families is your professional responsibility.
Everything it drafts stays within LIMA-aligned humane standards. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by CCPDT or IAABC.
We commit to at least 12 months of service from your purchase; if we sunset earlier, you get a full refund.
There is no general money-back guarantee. The free full generation exists so you never have to buy blind.
The client and dog details you paste are used to generate your documents and are not stored on our servers beyond the request.

1. What Homework Hound is

Homework Hound is a drafting tool. You give it session notes and context; it returns a draft training plan, weekly homework sheets, and a progress report, formatted under your brand. It is operated by ExistemAI ("we," "us"). By creating an account, running a generation, or purchasing access, you agree to these terms.

2. Professional use, and your review is part of the deal

Homework Hound is built for professional dog trainers and is sold for professional use.

The trainer-review requirement (this one is contractual): you agree to review and approve every document before it is given to a client or applied with a dog. The tool drafts; you decide. A document that hasn't been reviewed and approved by a qualified professional, meaning you, is not ready for client use, and using it that way is outside these terms.

We put it this way because it matches how your profession already works: responsibility for a training plan flows through the professional who signs off on it. This tool gives you a faster first draft. It does not replace your judgment, and it doesn't try to.

3. Not veterinary or behavioral-medicine advice

Nothing Homework Hound produces is veterinary advice, behavioral-medicine advice, or a diagnosis. Sudden behavior changes, possible pain, significant aggression, self-injury, and similar presentations belong with a veterinarian or a veterinary behaviorist first. When session notes include likely medical red flags, the tool adds a refer-to-vet line automatically, but spotting and acting on those flags remains your professional call.

4. Your responsibility (the indemnification part)

Plain English first: you're the professional. How you apply training content with a real dog, in a real household, is your professional judgment and your responsibility.

The legal version: you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ExistemAI and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your professional use of documents you reviewed and approved, your application of training techniques with any animal or person, or your breach of these terms. The service is provided "as is," and our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us.

5. The LIMA floor

Every draft is held within LIMA-aligned humane standards: least intrusive, minimally aversive. The tool will not draft aversive or dominance-based protocols (for example, alpha rolls, pain-based corrections, or flooding), regardless of what the input requests. When a request would cross that line, it declines neutrally and offers a humane alternative aimed at the same training goal. Above that floor, your methodology leads.

LIMA is the framework the major certification bodies certify against. Homework Hound is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by CCPDT, IAABC, or any certification body. We simply hold our drafts to that standard.

6. Free tier and the founding license

Free tier: one full generation (training plan, homework sheets, progress report), gated by your email so we can manage access. No card required.
Founding license: a one-time $39 purchase covering you and your training business. It includes unlimited fair use, capped at 100 generations per month, all 12 issue presets, white-label PDF export, and the three bonus resources.
Version-honest pricing: $39 is the v1 founding price. When v2 ships, the price for new buyers rises. Founders keep every feature they purchased, at no extra cost, for the life of the product.
Fair use: the 100/month cap exists to keep one-time pricing viable. Reselling access, sharing one license across multiple businesses, or automated scraping of the service are outside fair use. If something looks off we'll email you first, like adults.

7. The 12-month continuity commitment

We commit to keeping Homework Hound running for at least 12 months from your purchase date. If we ever discontinue the service before your 12 months are up, you receive a full refund of your purchase price, automatically, no request needed. We don't use "lifetime" language because we'd rather make a promise we can prove we kept.

8. Refunds

We don't offer a general money-back guarantee, and here is the honest reasoning: the free generation is the trial. You can run the entire product on a real client, see the actual PDF, and decide with the finished work in your hands before paying anything. We built it that way so a refund policy never has to do the job that trying the product should do.

That said, we're a small team and we read everything. If something is broken, or you feel we've let you down, write to justin@existemai.com, or simply reply to your Stripe receipt email. Goodwill matters more to us than policy, and we handle individual situations individually. And the continuity refund in section 7 is unconditional.

9. Privacy, in plain English

Dog and client details (names, notes, histories you paste in) are processed only to generate your documents. They are not stored on our servers beyond what's needed to complete the request, not used to train models, and never sold or shared.
Your email is used to manage your access (free-tier gating, license lookup, receipts) and for service messages that affect your account. For access gating we store a one-way hash of your email, not a readable copy.
Your logo never leaves your device. It is applied to documents in your browser and never uploaded to our servers.
The updates list is separate and optional. You join it only by saying yes to a plain consent sentence. Any opt-out is honored the same day.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Generated documents belong to you. Use them in your business freely.

10. Access and good standing

Access is delivered through your account and managed server-side. We may suspend access for clear abuse (resale, cap circumvention, attempts to generate content that violates the LIMA floor at scale), and we'll warn you before acting except where abuse is ongoing and obvious.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email the address on your account before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. We will never weaken the continuity commitment or the version-pricing promise for purchases already made.
